SAS Funds Research Proposal Led by Laber and Stefanski

SAS has initiated a program to support faculty research and the Department of Statistics at NC State is one of the first departments to benefit from this initiative.

The SAS program will support Len Stefanski and Eric Laber’s proposal entitled, “Research Collaboration Between the SAS Institute and NCSU: Tuning Parameter Selection in LASSO Regression and Related Regression Selection Methods.”

The Department is grateful to SAS and JMP for the continued support and is very proud of all the great talent on its faculty. The Department hopes to continue to expand its opportunities for stronger partnerships with SAS and JMP.
