Mindfulness Moment

Mindfulness exercises have been shown to benefit overall mental and physical well-being.

Try this breathing exercise to reduce stress and find calm:

Box Breathing:

Step 1:

  • Begin by breathing in gently through your nostrils, counting to four.
  • Focus on expanding your lungs and abdomen with each breath.
  • Allow your body to sense the air flowing into your lungs.

Step 2:

  • Hold your breath, pausing and counting to four once more.

Step 3:

  • Exhale slowly through your mouth, counting to four.
  • Direct your attention to completely emptying your lungs with each exhale.

Step 4:

  • Hold your breath, pausing and counting to four.

Repeat until you feel calm. 🙂
