Mindfulness Moment
Mindfulness exercises have been shown to benefit overall mental and physical well-being.
Try this breathing exercise to reduce stress and find calm:
Step 1:
- Begin by breathing in gently through your nostrils, counting to four.
- Focus on expanding your lungs and abdomen with each breath.
- Allow your body to sense the air flowing into your lungs.
Step 2:
- Hold your breath, pausing and counting to four once more.
Step 3:
- Exhale slowly through your mouth, counting to four.
- Direct your attention to completely emptying your lungs with each exhale.
Step 4:
- Hold your breath, pausing and counting to four.
Repeat until you feel calm. 🙂
