App Password

When campus requires you to change your password. All previous Google App Passwords are erased. This means if you use programs like Mozilla Thunderbird for your email you will need to recreate a Google App Password.

• Login to: https://myaccount.google.com/apppasswords
• Select app = “Mail”
• Select device = “Windows Computer”
• Click [Generate]
• Copy and Paste this information to a TXT file somewhere.
• Paste this password into Mail program. (Thunderbird)
  • Use password manager to remember password.
• Paste this password again when you attempt to send an email.
  • Use password manager to remember password.
