Personnel Change: Statistics Department Head

It was announced that Len Stefanski, Department Head of Statistics, has decided to return to the faculty, effective July 1, 2022. Len has led the department for the past six years. His dedication to Statistics at NC State is notable and very much appreciated, as is his sense of humor, which has lightened difficult moments and decisions.

Len’s service to the department and the college since his initial faculty appointment in 1986 has been outstanding, as are his many scholarly achievements and teaching and mentoring of students. We are happy that he has chosen to return to the teaching and research activities that he enjoys so much.
