Celebrating Milestones:

We extend heartfelt congratulations to Business Manager Josh Agner and Bookkeeper Kathleen Roth who have both celebrated 15 years with the university. We are grateful for their continued service.

Distinguished Lecture at Field of Dreams:

Professor Jaqueline (Jackie) Hughes-Oliver showcased the depth of our department’s expertise by delivering the prestigious Kathryn Chaloner Memorial Lecture at the Field of Dreams conference on November 3rd, 2023. 

UConn Statistics Department Distinguished Alumnus Award:

We are thrilled to announce that Professor Sujit K. Ghosh was honored with the 2023 Distinguished Alumnus Award from the University of Connecticut Statistics Department for his outstanding professional achievements. 

Promotions and Tenure:

Hearty congratulations go to Professor Arnab Maity for being recently promoted to Professor, and to Professor Srijan Sengupta on his promotion to Associate Professor with tenure. We look forward to witnessing the continued impact of their scholarly pursuits.
