Tutoring Services
During the 2024-25 academic year, the STAT (Statistical Tutoring and Training) Hub will operate in the statistics tutoring room (SAS 1101) from 5:30-8pm Monday through Thursday (except on University holidays and breaks). Evening hours will reduce conflicts with other classes and allow students who need parking to use the lot by SAS Hall. All meetings and tutoring will be in-person. These services are free of charge.
The STAT Hub will support five of our undergraduate and graduate-level service courses:
- ST 311: Introduction to Statistics
- ST 312: Introduction to Statistics II
- ST 350: Economics and Business Statistics
- ST 370: Probability and Statistics for Engineers ***
- ST 511: Statistical Methods for Researchers I
- ST 513: Statistics for Management and Social Sciences I
*** Please check your course syllabus to ensure that your particular section is supported by STAT Hub.
In addition to the STAT Hub there are students who offer tutoring services for a broader range of courses. Please note that this is not a free service. The department offers no guarantee that students on this list will be available for tutoring, nor does it exercise any control over the arrangements made between tutors and those seeking tutoring. Please use the campus directory to contact these graduate students.
