Cavell Brownie Mentoring Award 2015-2016

Eric Laber, associate professor in the Department of Statistics, has won the Cavell Brownie Mentoring Award. This award is made in recognition of Laber’s innovative and extensive mentoring of both graduate and undergraduate students. Through his creative and novel mentoring approaches and initiatives, he has greatly enhanced motivation and excitement for statistics among students in the classroom and in his research group.
