Dr. Dave Dickey – D.D. Mason Award 2017-2018

This award is made in recognition of Professor Dickey’s outstanding contributions to the Department, University, and Statistics Profession since arriving in Raleigh in 1976.  Dr. Dickey is known as an outstanding lecturer, expert consultant/collaborator, mentor of PhD students and faculty, and a top-cited time-series expert with four co-authored books. Currently his 1979 JASA paper with Wayne Fuller has 23,619 Google Scholar citations, and his 1981 Econometrica paper, also joint with Fuller, has 13,820 citations.
