Dr. Jon Stallings — Teaching Excellence

Jonathan Richards-Stallings is the 2017-18 recipient of the College of Sciences Leroy and Elva Martin Award for Teaching Excellence. Dr. Eric Laber – 2018 Investigator Award

Eric Laber has been selected as the 2018 recipient of the Raymond J. Carroll Young Investigator Award. This award is presented biennially to a statistician who is within 10 years of his PhD for outstanding contributions to the field of statistics.

This award is made in recognition of Professor McGowan’s outstanding teaching, contributions to the undergraduate program, and service to the Department and University through the StatClub, the Park Scholars program, the Pack Promise program, the Women in Statistics group, and Preparing for the Professoriate.
