Bayesian Nonparametrics Conference

The 10th Conference on Bayesian Nonparametrics was held at NC State University from June 22-26, 2015. The conference is a bi-annual international meeting bringing together leading experts and talented young researchers working on applications and theory of nonparametric Bayesian statistics.

Celebrating Our 2015 Graduates

The Department of Statistics held its spring graduation ceremony on May 9. Roughly 30 undergraduate students and 27 graduate students received degrees. With over 350 attendees, it was the best-attended graduation in the Department’s history.

Joshua M. Tebbs earned his Ph.D. in Statistics from NC State in 2000, after earning his B.S. in Mathematics in 1995 and his M.S. in Statistics in 1997, both from University of Iowa.
